New Gameboy Color Question
Why do original the gameboy games have color when played on a newer system?
I’m assuming that original gameboy games were designed without colors. What I don’t understand is why they have color when you play them on a newer system like gameboy color or gameboy advance.
Did they just add colors assuming they would make a future system that would be compatible? Does it have anything to do with super gameboy for nintendo? Or is the color an outside source not actually in the game? any help or links to information would be very much appreciated.
The systems like the GameBoy Advance SP have something built in them that adds more color. Hope this helps.
What Pokémon game should I buy?
I was always a fan of the Pokémon television series, and happen to own two such games: Pokémon Channel and Pokémon FireRed. I am thinking of buying another game to start my collection, and I would like some advice on which one to get. I have a Wii, GBA, Gameboy Colour and DS, so I have plenty of available systems.
I enjoy the gameplay of FireRed, I just feel it’s become outdated, with new Pokémon being created everyDAY!
The Pokémon mystery game is boring and it’s gameplay is completely different to FireRed. You could get Pokemon Diamond or Pearl for the DS which are the newest pokemon games that use the same formula as Pokémon Fire Red. You can also wait for Pokemon Platinum to come out which should be awesome but that’ll be out next year. There have been 4 generations of pokemon games altogether.
1st Gen (playable on GBA) Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow
2nd Gen (playable on GBA) Pokemon Gold, Silver and Crystal
3rd Gen (GBA) Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen.
4th Gen (DS) Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum.
If you want Pokémon Platinum, I suggest you ditch the 4th Gen games for now and get one of the earlier Gen games. If that’s the case, I’d suggest Pokemon Emerald.
